One of those times when you know it's not going to work, but you're at the beach and it seems silly not to try... So it turned out, one planing run out and in, and the wind finally gave up. A bit of plodding around later and it was obvious it wasn't coming back.

So I gave up and came in, deciding to cut my little toe open on the way (probably on the mussels Gareth warned us about...)

A pointless session, but strangely still better than not bothering. First time for me this year that the sea didn't feel at all cold, so that's nice at least.
